Most people in this world I find really dont get

What life is really about

I feel

That most people think that everything will be

Given to them with no fuss, no consequences,

and no problems.

 What I know is this:

 Life isnt that easy

So wake up

If you want something

Your going to have to work at it

To get it

 Yes, people will shit on you

And yes your heart will get broken

It doesnt matter how well you do

Someone will always dislike you.

 For as many people who like you

Just as many hate you,

Out of jealousy, out of pitty

and just because they dont understand

 why you get it and they dont.

 You will,

wake up alone

More than half your life

And maybe if your lucky, just maybe

You will find that one person

that completes you.

 Most people dont..

 I refuse to settle for second best

And I refuse to let myself be second in my life

I have been broken, shut down

And told useless

I have fallen and been stepped on

Repeatedly

 I was married, and divorced

To someone who thought they

Could control

What I thought, what I felt

And what I could do

Freedom was something

Taken from me

So

I took it back

 You should never change for anyone

And you should never try to change anyone

Love life for what it is

Dont hate it for what it hasnt given to you

For you are responsible

For your own outcome and your own destiny
